These wild rugged little mountain sheep are fabulous to watch grazing the hillside by my home. The Torddu or Badger faced flock are the origins of our little Angua and Sybil, the twin bottle lambs we raised in 2022 and kept in our small flock.
The natural colour of the wool that the two flocks produce is a beautiful fawn grey. The dyed colours are inspired by living close to the natural world here in Wales.
This particular colourway uses dock leaves and an iron mordant to achieve the richer colour.
