Storytime – The Very Hungry Caterpillar (25.8.21)

21 in stock

A 1.5 hour Storytime session  running from 10:30-12.00 on Wednesday 25th August. This session is for children of all ages and their parent/carer! Tickets are one per person, children and adults alike!

Please note you will be ultimately responsible for your child throughout the session as this is  not a drop off session.  Plenty of chances for the parents to get involved in activities too!

This session will be based around play and exploration following forest school principles.

Explore all sorts of veg in the mud kitchen, make your very own caterpillar and toast a marshmallow over the fire!

Connection to nature and community have become more important since the start of the pandemic and the subsequent isolation and lockdowns.  We are looking to support the development of both here at Traed Bach Mwdlyd.

The sessions are for being rather than doing.  Being present in the moment. Playing and having fun out in nature. There are no expected outcomes, no pressure and no judgement, turn up as you are and be present although outdoor gear will be a bonus!

Please head over to our policies and procedures page to see our policies in brief, the full handbook of policies and procedures and  the terms and conditions.  Tickets are per person and you will need to book tickets for every adult and child coming to the session!

These sessions are based in Rhos SA44.  Upon booking you will receive an email with full details, address, parking arrangements, meeting spot and a form to complete for permissions, dietary requirements etc.  This form MUST be completed BEFORE the session, but will only be needed the first time you attend unless details change.
