Coniferous Hat Pattern

Description

A super fast knit, perfect for a gift or those times when you need a fast finishing project!  This simple design was inspired by the coniferous plantations and forestry locally here to chez Tyddyn Bryn

Size/Measurements
The hat is a medium to large adult size hat, intended to be long enough to
cover the ears well!
Hat height is approximately 9 inches (23cms) crown to brim.
Circumference is approximately 21 inches (53cms) unstretched, but has
a good amount of stretch and grip thanks to the ribbing around the brim.

Gauge
Pattern for gauge: stocking stitch
12 stitches to 15 rows in 2 inches or 5cms

You Will Need
• 4mm circular needle or double pointed needles, or size to get gauge
• 3.25mm circular needle or double pointed needles or 3 sizes smaller than main needles.
• 50 grams/150 yards/137m of DK yarn, yarn pictured is DMC Woolly Merino DK wool. A plain
yarn with a good stitch definition is recommended.
