So whilst we do some activities here with the boys, I also feel it is important that they have plenty of time to find their own activities and their own entertainment!
This week they have helped build the new raised beds for my natural dye garden!!
And used them for dinosaurs and tractor small world play!
They have also built and christened a toilet…. out on the yard…. full view of the road (luckily a VERY quiet one!) 😂🤦♀️
And they have built and tended a snail farm!! With worm friends!! The worms were less inclined to escape!!
It’s amazing where their imagination takes them with a random array of items to play with!! And the skills they develop are numerous, communication through talking about their projects, maths and science looking at changes of state, habitats, size, shape etc. Working together, or not in some cases! And giving me a few minutes to do things I need to get done!!
