Ents or tree people first came onto my radar when my father used to read the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit to my sister and I at bedtime!
To create these little wonders you will need
- Mud or clay
- A handful of natural finds
When it rains these creatures slowly disappear so they are the ultimate in eco activities!
Start with a blob of clay or mud shape it into a ball and press it into a face shape on a tree!
Add eyes and other features using your natural finds!!
This activity develops your child’s understanding of facial features and their ability to name them! Also their imagination and creativity!
