Recently in our sessions some of the children have shown an interest in making traps. Not just track traps, but actual traps.
So out came the survival books!!
We looked through the books and the children choose a couple of traps to make!
Working as teams they used bow saws, loppers, whittling knives, stop cuts and knot work to make the beginnings of a spring trap. And also a basket trap! Using willow sticks!
Some fab wood working and a great start to their traps!!
