Another day trip from us here over the summer was to the Botanic Gardens just the other side of Carmarthen!
We used to go here regularly for their Welly Wednesday sessions when the boys were tiny and before life got so hectic! They have done soooo much work here over the past couple of years and now they have the Bird of Prey centre as well there is literally sooo much to see and do!!
Free parking and a reasonable entrance cost for the gardens with extra for the bird of prey centre and flying displays! It’s a fab and full day out!!
We started out at the Bird of Prey centre looking at the birds and catching a display, before a bit of time at the play park, a picnic, a wander through the dome, climbing on the massive tree root systems, walking through the parkland, a visit to the vegetable gardens and ice creams!!
